What is Termite Control

Termite control is the process of eradicating termites. To be able to perform a termite extermination, one needs to have extensive knowledge of the insect as well as insecticides. Additionally, an exterminator needs to know how to detect structural damage in a house. Termite control is a processes perfected through experience. It is imperative however, for a termite controller to have all the region specific licenses to do so.

A termite controller needs to have an educated knowledge of processes and new technology in dealing with termites. Additionally, a termite controller needs to have a familiarity of local construction methods and specificities. This is essential for getting the most of the termite control process.

Traditionally, termite control is performed through soil chemical treatments that act as barriers between subterranean termites and the house. In some cases, a termite exterminator would create physical barriers to deter termite entrance.
